Help...again!
Why can't I print my chapter out? The printer is working and the cartridge is ok cuz it just printed out a handover sheet I use for work (which is in Works). It won't print the same document from Works or Word. It goes through the motions...but there's nothing on the paper. I've waited all fucking day to print in case I woke Dave up. WTF?

PLEASE HELP...or I shall have to get drunk...again.

Edit: bitey...whereforartthou? *whimper*

Okay...one only tonight...cuz t'is such a beauty of a song...I want to write all Zeds...ZZZZZZ for ZZZZZakk.



It's turning into one of those nights...again. Sitting all alone inside your head...



This one is for ma mum...an hour and it'll be 6 years...



I do sooo much of that!

Did you try printing anything else afterwards? I had that happen to me once and it was because I'd just started using compatible ink cartridges. The woman in the (independent) repair place told me that can happen - and it can permanently screw up the heads. Fortunately, I swapped back to Epson and after a couple of cleans, it worked fine. Rip off, but still, at least it worked! (and InkClub is great for cheap original cartridges).

It seemed to start after I installed Word (the version I pinched from Dave J). I noticed I couldn't print from Excel as I'd rejiggled my handover sheet on the laptop, emailed it to myself and then couldn't print. I didn't think any more of it cuz I could still print out my old handover sheet from Works. Before this I could print the chapters from Works (also my essays and Uni work was all done in Works). I did a test page last night but it only printed out the heading but kept going as if printing the rest of the page...but no print on paper. Is it something to do with needing drivers updated? O.o I'll have another fiddle as last night all I really wanted to do was sleep.
